The FAQs from the Starter Guide page have been copied here to help with ease of reading and reduce clutter.

This section will try to answer the largest number of questions that players have, it has been divided into several topics, most of the questions come from the game support, although they will be added and updated as needed.

General game questions

• It there an official contact?

• I saw on the internet an application that would give me infinite of coins and diamonds in the game, what should I do?

This game is highly monitored, so a ban or warning message "Hacking behavior detected, you are forced to quit game!" will be unceremoniously applied to anyone who unfairly tries to profit from it. Don't risk Boby's banhammer.

• Why is my account banned?

Hello, you account may have been banned due to the following reason:

1. Your use of some means to obtain in-game resources or cheating.
2. Teaching cheating methods.
3. Inappropriate behavior within the game.
4. Benefiting from game exploits
5. Other actions not specified

• Can I play the game on different devices?

Yes, but because Android and IOS use different servers, so game data cannot be transferred between them.

• Can I play Harvest Town without internet connection?

Yes. You need to log in first with Internet connection, but you can turn it off after you log into the game, but some part of the game will be restricted.

• Does the game save my progress automatically?

Yes. The game has manual save and automatic save. At the end of every day in game your progress will be automatically saved to local storage. After you connect with other players the progress will be saved to the server.

• Do I have to update the game? What if my game fail to update?

You have to update in order to play. Try to restart the game if the update stops.

• How can I change game control?

You can change the control mode in "Menu-Settings-SYSTEM"

• Does the game have multiplayer section?

Yes, and we will add more and better multiplayer sections in the future.

• How do I calculate the time in game?

1 second in reality = 0.66 min in game.

1 year in game = 4 seasons = 4 months, and 1 month is 28 days; the unit and ratio below days are the same with the ones in reality.

• Why do I lose coins when I wake up?

If you die or pass out in the wild, you will lose coins and random items.

• What can I do if I don't have enough coins?

Manor orders are the best option to earn coins, however missions will earn you coins much faster.

• Why can't I buy coins?

In the new version, coins are not available for purchase. You can try opening the shop to see if there are free coins!

In addition, you can also earn coins by selling things in the stall and logistics center.

• Can the H-coins in the event be accumulated until the next event?

Yes, H-coins will not expire.

• What are the ways to obtain antiquities?

Fishing treasure chests, spar, hoe, monster drops.

• What shall I do if I get repeated antiquity?

You can only sell them at the stall for money, or give it to Tom Cole to increase his fondness.

• How do I donate antiquities?

You can donate by selecting the antiquity and click the shelves in the school.

• How can I deal damage to the monsters/mobs?

Equip a weapon, and start to attack them!

• How can I get better weapons?

Weapons are all dropped by monsters and can also be purchased in the occult caves.

• How to open the treasure chest?

Take it to the blacksmith shop, click on the chisel and drag the treasure chest to the chisel.

• Can bombs deal damage to me or my items?

Yes, so be careful when you use them!

• How can I get scale powder?

You have a possibility to get it when doing bulletin missions and daily missions. They are also available at the mall.

• Will the fruit trees wither?

No, they will always be there.

• How long will it take for the tree to grow?

The trees in the wild grew up in five days, and grew up in ten days in your manor.(the stump will also be cut down)

• How can I know the weather for tomorrow?

You can watch the weather report on TV to know the weather tomorrow. The TV can be purchased at Foxy's grocery store.

• Will the items in the shop be changed?

No, they won't

• Is there no auto pathing using the map?

No, Harvest Town requires player's careful exploration. Right now players can choose to play with joystick and tap mode.

Tap near your character to move around. If you long press the command button at the bottom right corner, your character will automatically find executable command in a 5x5 grid near you.

Long press your screen will make your character move by following your finger.

• Can it find the way automatically?

You can click the red dot next to the Quests to find the way automatically, or click the place you want to move on the map.

• Why does the workshop take so much time to produce?

The workshops corresponds to the time in reality. And it will still work when the player is offline.

• What if I run out of backpack space?

You can use diamonds to increase backpack capacity or craft chests.

• When will there be a campfire party?

Every Saturday from 18:10 to 23:10, except for rainy/snowy days. It will be held at the east lake of the town.

• What can I do if it is dark at night?

Purchasing candles or light ornaments can light up the surroundings. You can also craft torches to see around you by holding it in your hand.

• Why do my crops die when the season changes?

The ravens in the pasture may take away your crops. If you want to prevent the loss, you can set a scarecrow or keep the number of seeds planted below 20.

• How to finish the car order?

Click the items that are needed in the order, it will show information about how you can acquire them.

• How do I request help for the orders?

Clicking on the items that you do not have in the order, it will ask you to request for help. Each order can only request help once.

After requesting, every player who visits your manor can see and help you.

• What are the rules for sleeping?

You can sleep after 8:00 P.M., and wake up at 6:00 A.M. the next morning, sleeping will restore some of your health and vitality.

If you are not asleep at 2:00 A.M., then you will faint, force to sleep and lose some coins.

• How do I regenerate my vitality?

Vitality can be regenerated slowly throughout the day. You can restore it to full by sleeping. Drinking Special Milk and Mini Milk can also restore vitality.

Special Milk and Mini Milk can be acquired through missions, events, and mall. One Mini Milk will also be gifted every day in game.

Customization Character / Items

• Can I create a personal look for my character?

This is temporarily unavailable, since the character is too small, so the face cannot have much visible difference.

If you want, you can change your character's gender at the hospital, change your skins color and hair style at the Barber, and try on new clothes at the Cloth Shop.

• Can I change the gender of my character?

Yes, the hospital provides gender changing service.

• How do I increase my character's movement speed?

You do so by wearing shoes, mounting, and paving roads. However paving roads are only effective in your own manor.

• How can I get titles?

You can acquire titles by upgrading your skills or completing achievements.

• How to change the color of chests?

Open the chest, there is a column of colors on the far right to choose.

NPCs

• How to use the hire card?

You can take out the hire card from the bag, find one of the children and then give the card to him/her to take effect.

• Do NPCs have birthdays?

Yes, and acquired fondness is doubled when you gift them on their birthdays!

• What if I cannot find the NPC?

Please check question 16. For quest NPC, after you complete the quest, the specific NPC will be highlighted on the map.

• Why does the shop say it's closed even thought the NPC is at the counter?

You arrived at the moment where the NPC finished their day, come back another day

• What can I do to increase the fondness of NPCs?

You can chat with them everyday, send them gifts, complete their bulletin missions or side missions, buy them a drink in the bar, to increase their fondness.

However, chat can only increase their fondness to 2 stars, and you can only gift them 1 time everyday.

Besides missions, chatting and gifting can only increase their fondness by 100 points every week in the game.

There is also possibility to decrease their fondness if you send them something they do not appreciate.

• How to give gifts to NPCs?

Select the item you wish to gift in your inventory/hotbar, then click on the NPC you want to give the item to.

• Why didn't I receive the favorability reward from an NPC?

There will be some delays in the favorability rewards. If you have not received it for several days, please contact us.

• Why does the NPC no longer gain fondness after I gift him/her?

Maybe it is because he/she already reaches 100 points of fondness this week, or he/she does not like your gift.

• Why doesn't the NPC increase fondness after I gift him/her?

Because you give them something they do not enjoy. Each NPC has their own characters and preference. So if you send them something wrong then their fondness will not increase.

• What if the NPC is not in his/her home?

NPC has their own lives, and will not stay in their house. You can try to find them in other places, or try again at another time. Also, you can try to wait at their doorway in the morning or at night, when they will go out or come back.

• Why doesn’t Foxy have Potato seed anymore?

Because the season changes~ Foxy only sells seeds that corresponds to the current season. Also, for those rare seeds, she needs to order them too.

P.S: The seeds will die the next day if they are not for the current season.

Marriage / Dating

• Can I marry in the game?

This function is not available yet. We are trying to develop related contents.

• I haven’t received the item reward from the date with an NPC. What I can do?

There is no guarantee that you will receive the item reward. You must keep trying until the reward you are looking for comes out.

• Does the new dating system allow you to date NPC's of the same sex?

The dating system allows you to date NPC's of either sex.

• Can I marry an NPC of the same sex?

You can't marry anyone besides Foxy as of right now.

More stuff is still being implemented and will be available in the near future.

• Female Marriage

Female character marriage is still being developed.

• Dating

The dating function is currently under test and can only be used after opening. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Farm animals

• What do the animals eat?

They have their special feed, or they eat the grass outside.

• Can I let my animals out in the winter?

Yes, don't forget to place down a heater. Buy them at Cruz’s Ranch (they will survive without a heater, but will not grow larger.)

They will not come out when it is snowing.

• I have had the sheep for a while now and also updated the scissor but I still can’t get wool from the sheep. How to get Wool?

They’re not grown up yet and so you can’t shear them. Wait until they got bigger and it should be no problem then.

• Will animals become pregnant?

In the current version, the animals cannot get pregnant. This function is under development.

• Why did my chick disappear?

If you do not call it home at night, there is a chance that it will get lost.

• What should I do if the animals don't return home if they ring the bell?

Click on the animal, select "Move", then click on the poultry house / barn.

• Why can't I ride my animals?

The animals need to grow up to be mounted. Right now you can only mount your own livestock.

• Can I have multiple horses?

You can only have 1 horse right now. Buying a new one will replace the old one.

• Can I buy multiple pets for the same type?

Right now you can only own one for each type.

• How do I increase the fondness for my pets?

By touching them every day, do this by clicking on them (the same way you interact with NPC's)

• Move kennels and cattery. What if the pets are not removed together?

They will return to the kennel/cattery next day.

• What do pigs produce?

When a pig matures, there is a chance that it will coal out. But the probability is very low, it is recommended to sell it directly after maturity is more cost-effective.

• How can the hive produce jasmine nectar?

Planting jasmine around the honeycomb has a chance to produce jasmine nectar.

Mining

• Why is there a big stone at the entrance of the cave that can't get in?

The cave is unlocked by level 20.

• What should I do if I can't get out after I enter the mine and find that there is no transport scroll?

There is a chance that the mine can dig into the Transport Scroll. If you can't dig it,

you can use the "transport" button in options to escape (OPTIONS-SYSTEM-Transport)

• Why can't I mine gold or silver?

The higher the rarity of the ore, the deeper it needs to be dug. The silver mine will appear at about 850m, and the gold mine will be about 1000m.

• How to find the different types of ores?

Click [Exit] to display the mine layer where all different ores are located.

Building / Decoration

• Will I get a refund of building materials if I remove a building?

No. please be careful about the removal.

• How do I upgrade my manor?

By completing manor orders, putting down decorations, repairing/building/upgrading your buildings you can get prosperity points and increase your level.

Currently you can upgrade your manor to level 99 max, check the previews for each level on the settings page.

• How do I get building materials?

Exchange truck is the main method to get building materials. There is also a chance of getting materials by digging and completing daily missions.

Also, in the daily gift at your friends' manor there is the possibility of obtaining them and unlocking damaged buildings on the property with your shovel.

• What if I accidentally put my building across the bridge before I unlock it?

You can move your buildings using the edit mode.

• Why have some of my buildings disappeared?

With the new update, we have removed some buildings and compensated for them.

• How to move the building?

You can solve it this way

1.Enter edit mode

2.Long press the building to move

• How does the bonus mechanic of decoration work?

The bonus only works for certain types of buildings around it. When putting down decorations, they will show their effective range,

and the buildings that are affected by them have special effects.

• Where can I buy the Neroli Aroma Lamp (decorations)?

You can buy it at the decorations store. The store can be accessed by clicking the top-right of the screen (coins or diamonds or yellow shopping cart).

• Why can't I put something in my basement?

The function of the basement is under development.

• How do I cross the bridge in the Manor? What can we do over there?

After you follow the main missions it will eventually unlock at certain level. There is another large land with abundant resources.

Friends

• What can I do while visiting my friend's manor?

You can walk around their manor, help them take care their farm animals, and find random prizes. You can also comment about their manors, help them with their requests, and give them a like.

• Is there a limit on sending gifts to friends? How many gifts can you send?

You can give 10 and open up 20 received gifts.

• I did not find Ginseng / Revival Grass / Hair-caring Ginseng while visiting my friends.

You will find them if you try a few times or visiting more of your friends. You could get it in the Occult Cave too.

• Can I cancel my like?

You cannot cancel after you click the like, but you can click the like again the next day.

• What is that date that my friend has next to him / her?

It is his / her last date of entry to the game, with it you can see if it is active or not

• How can I remove a friend who is no longer active or I don't like?

In the information part of your friend there is an "X" with it you can remove them from your friends.

• Why many of my friends disappeared?

A maximum of 100 friends (+Boby) in the game has been set, this part of the game is still being optimized, so don't be scared that removing a large part of your friends is not a bug.

Missions

• How can I find the "Flower in the Mirror"?

You could get it by fighting monsters in the Occult Cave.

• Can I restart my mission if it expires?

Sorry, you cannot. But maybe it will reappear later if you are lucky enough.

• What can I do with the mission item after the missions expires? I can neither destroy nor sell it.

Maybe you can save it as collection...

• What if I accidentally delete my side mission?

You can go and get the mission from the NPC again.

• Do the daily missions mean one day in the game or in reality?

It is one day in reality.

• Is there a maximum of how many missions I can get?

You can have at most 15 missions at the same time, and you can give up any missions but the main ones.

• Why can't I complete the quest about tangerine nightlights?

You need to send these four quest item to four children as a gift to complete this quest!

• I already have gold ingot / baseball, why I still can't finish the quest?

Please give the gold ingot/baseball to the target NPC as a gift.

• My backpack is full, what shall I do if I didn’t get the donation prize?

You can find Tom Cole later and get the prize again.

Game problems

• Why is my game progress different when I log in again?

Maybe it is because you did not save when you quit, so the progress is lost. Remember to save each time you exit the game!

• Why the items / tools disappear?

It's probably not lost! Please double check if they are in your crate.

You can click the toggle button on top of the box to quickly switch boxes!

• Can I lose my skateboard and bike?

No. If you cannot find them, you can use the map to check their locations. And please press action button if you cannot see it in the location the map shows.

• What if I get stuck somewhere?

Try to use tools against the items, or use edit mode to move the objects around you. Besides, most of the items can be destroyed by quick tapping 5 times.

If all of the above are not working, try to reload your saved progress or wait until you faint.

• I'm stuck / can't move / My character is disappear.

You can get out of any stuck by press the transport button in options(Menu-Settings-SYSTEM-Transport)

• What can I do when I cannot see Ads?

Please try to wait for 30s to 1 min after showing the message and click again.

If you cannot see the Ads after waiting for 1 min, following methods may help you solve the problem

First of all try to update the game and see if you are on the latest version

If you've saved the progress to the cloud (OPTIONS-SYSTEM-CLOUD SAVE),

please try VPN / mobile network / rebooting the device / clearing the cache / reinstalling.

Otherwise, please try VPN / Mobile network

• Problems with quests (repeat / disappear, etc.)

We already know about the issue of the main quests.

1. Duplicate branch quests after sleeping were fixed on November 24

2. The main quest is reset when re-logging in to the account will be fixed on December 2

If you have other conditions, please tell us the description of the specific quest duplication condition

1. Repeat task type: main or branch quest

2. What do you do when it happens? Like sleep or either action?

• Why doesn't the boss without dropping weapons when I beat it?

Weapons are dropped randomly, if there is no weapon, please try again.

• Why did the weapon I bought in the cave disappear?

Time-limited weapons can be used within 5 minutes(real time) after purchasing

• My backpack is full, what shall I do if I didn't get the donation prize?

You can find Tom Cole later and get the prize again.

• Lost the bike / skateboard and other vehicle

Please walk to the place where it shows on the map, then press the action button, you will ride on it automatically.

Skills / Tools

• What if the bucket of waters runs out?

Take the bucket to the water's edge and click on the water

• How to collect from Auto Collector?

The items appear above the building you have the auto collector in, a floating rectangle above the roof.

If you click the box all the items should then go into your inventory.

• How do I get the heater?

The heater will be available after you have finished the parchment quest of Gary, it is sold for 3000 each for poultry and barn.

It can be purchase via Commodity Tab in the ranch menu (Gary Cruz's House). Click Store then Commodity then purchase Heating.

• I only get trash from fishing traps, what can I do?

You must put a bait on them, take the bait out of the bag and once in your hands click on the fishing trap and you will hear a sound,

that means that it has worked and now you will get better rewards

• Why is fishing so easy / difficult?

At different area, the difficulty is different. Using different fishing rod, hook, and bait can also changes the difficulty even in the same area.

So at first we suggest to fish near your manor's river when you start with your small fish rod. Also, you fish by tapping and long press, then pull force will increase differently.

• How to fish easier?

You can upgrade your fishing rod at the Smithy and equip baits on your rod except for the normal fishing rod.

You can also equip baits to the fishing trap that can also get better items.

• Are there only few types of fish?

Fish has many types in the game. The fish area, fishing rod, hook, bait and time can all affect the fish that you catch.

• How do I upgrade my tools?

Tools can be upgraded at Smithy, the ores that are required can be found in Bizarre Space in Southern Town, and melt them into ingots at the Melt Workshop.

• How do I level up my skills?

You can get experience points for the corresponding activities. Click the skills icon for more information.

Also you can only level up 1 time each day.

• Is there a cooking option?

Yes, you can unlock the kitchen after you upgrade your house to level 3.

• How do I level up my pick up skills?

You can level it up by picking up wild products such as fruits and shellfish, and digging up earthworms.

• Why can't I upgrade my tool at Smithy?

You may not have enough materials for upgrade or your tool is not with you.

• Where can I find more wood?

You can go to the Northern forest, there are many trees over there.

• Where can I find better ores?

Bizarre Space have various mine ores, the deeper you dig the more you can find!

• Are there season changes in the game?

Yes, the current season will affect shops, plants, animals and fish. We make sure the differences between seasons and those between day and night are clear and beautiful.
